Projects of scientists from the Moscow State University Physics Department have recently won several prestigious academic exibitions and fairs. The Physics Department at Moscow State and Oleg Deripaska’s Volnoe Delo Foundation have a long-standing history of cooperation - and friendship. The participation in international exhibitions became possible thanks to support from the Foundation.
The “Counterfeiting protection through the use of nano-marking and lasers" project received a silver medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Warsaw. And on November 21-24 2011 the International Commission of experts from more than 20 countries awarded it (as well as another project by the Physics Department - "Compact picosecond laser”) gold medals at the IV International Exhibition of Inventions in the Middle East IIFME.
