November 14th, 2011 saw the start of MSU jubilee celebrations of the 300th anniversary of M.V. Lomonosov.  The series of festive events kicked off with a “Lomonosov readings” international conference, which is taking place at most departments at Moscow State.

As part of the celebrations, as well as under one of its oldest programmes, “AlmaMater”, the Volnoe Delo Foundation assisted its longtime partner - the Physics Department, in organizing the conference, jubilee exhibition and publications dedicated to M.V. Lomonosov.

Also, as part of the AlmaMater programme, the Foundaiton allocated funds for the preparation and participation of scientists and graduates of the Physics Department in the 5th Warsaw International Invention Exhibition (IWIS-2011), which was held on November 3-5, and the IV International Invention Exhibition in the Middle East (Kuwait), which is to be held November 21-24, 2011.
