Through the efforts of Siberia’s leading scientists and a team of authors from the “Khakassia” State Natural Reserve - and with the support of the Volnoe Delo Foundation - the Ecosystem and biodiversity of the “Lake Shira” area of the “Khakassia” State Natural Reserve, edited by V.V. Nepomnyashy, is finally seeing publication.

On October 15 the Zhelezniy township in Krasnodar Krai hosted a seminar entitled “Discussions on the development of Zhelezniy, Svobodniy and Oktyabrskiy through the involvement of youth and the working-age population in entrepreneurship and small business”.

On August 10th the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Russian Geographical Society guardian council Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin visited the excavations at Phanagoria – the largest classical-period monument in Russia.
